Join us on an amazing safari throughout the famous game parks of the so-called "Northern Circuit". Embark on game drives in Tarangire, visit the impressive Ngorongoro Crater and the vast plains of the Serengeti, and get to know a pearl of East Africa, the Lake Manyara National Park. The package starts any day right at Kilimanjaro International Airport, and also ends there.

Day 01: Arusha
Evening arrival transfer from Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) to the "Impala Hotel", Arusha, for overnight (twin rooms; bed + breakfast).
Day 02: Tarangire NP
After breakfast, start on your Northern Circuit Tanzania Safari, driving to the Tarangire National Park. This 2,600 sq. km Park is located about 118 km (75 miles) from Arusha. The waters of the Tarangire River ensure good year-round grazing for a large variety and number of mammals that do not have to migrate. The Park has the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem. Lunch at the "Tarangire Safari Lodge" is followed by an afternoon game drive in the Park. Overnight at the "Tarangire Safari Lodge" (all meals on safari are included).

Day 03: Ngorongoro Crater
Proceed to Ngorongoro, where you arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy the crater tour of the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, the second-largest crater worldwide (264 sq. km). It is teeming with wildlife, among it lions, hippos and "black" rhinos which have almost become extinct in Africa due to poaching. You can also expect to see large numbers of flamingoes, and the hyenas here are said to have become mainly day hunters. Lunch and overnight at the "Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge".
Day 04: Serengeti NP
On your way to the Serengeti National Park, you will visit the Olduvai Gorge, a famous site of archaeological findings, where traces of pre-historic people dating back 3.5 million years have been discovered. The site is also called the "Cradle of Mankind". You will have the option to visit one of the Maasai villages. After entering the Serengeti National Park, you will enjoy game viewing already en route before the actual afternoon game drive. The Serengeti National Park is well known for its large number of plains game with their associated predators. Lunch and overnight at the "Seronera Wildlife Lodge".
Days 05-06: Serengeti NP
Early morning game drive around the lodge. Collect lunch boxes and enjoy a full-day's game viewing in the Serengeti National Park, which covers an area of 14,763 sq. km. Lunch and overnight at the "Seronera Wildlife Lodge".
Day 07: Serengeti - Lake Manyara
Early morning game drive still in the Serengeti. Return to the lodge for late breakfast. Thereafter, drive to the Ngorongoro Highlands and reach Gibbs Farm in time for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the waterfalls near Gibbs Farm. Then proceed to Lake Manyara, where you overnight at the "Lake Manyara Hotel".

Day 08: Lake Manyara NP
After breakfast, you will have a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park whose inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree climbing lions, flamingos and other varieties of birdlife. Lunch at Lake Manyara Hotel/ Lodge. After lunch, drive back to Arusha and - if applicable - proceed to Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure flight in the evening. End of services.

Hints
- Soft-sided luggage or duffels are preferable to hard luggage for storage on safari vehicles. Large suitcases of dimensions greater than 24" x 17" x 7" are impossible to store in vehicles and should not be used
